Programming package adapter to enable “Out of System” programming of 8-pin Serial EEPROM devices on the AP-114 programming system. Suitable for all 1.27mm pitch 0.208” wide body EIAJ SOIC devices from 8 to 16 pins.
The adapter is for use only on the AP-114 programmer.

The Clam-shell Zero-Insertion Force (ZIF) socket allows easy insertion and removal of devices.

Example Devices:
The adapter supports all 8-pin Serial EEPROM devices including 24xx I2C, 25xx SPI & 93xx Microwire parts. However, because of resources available on the programmer, the devices have to be positioned differently according to the programming requirements of each family
Exceptions:
Certain 93C46 Microwire EEPROM devices from various manufacturers have their connections rotated 2 pins anti-clockwise from the standard pinouts. This rotated pinout is currently not supported.
Notes
- The adapter uses an OTS series open-type push/pop Zero-Insertion Force (ZIF) socket from Enplas, with pinch contacts (Socket code: OTS-16(20)-1.27-01)
- It has a life cycle of 10,000 insertion cycles (minimum) under normal use.
- Operating temperature range: -60°C ~ +150°C
- Printed circuit board material: RF4 with 1 Once copper with a Nickel/Gold RoHS compliant finish
- Adapter is Lead-free and RoHS compliant
