Programming package adapter to enable “Out of System” programming of 8-pin Serial EEPROM devices on the AP114 ISP/JTAG programming system. Suitable for all 0.1” (2.54mm) pitch DIP devices from 8 to 16 pins.
The adapter is for use only on the AP-114 programmer.

The Zero-Insertion Force (ZIF) socket allows easy insertion and removal of devices.

Example Devices:
The adapter supports all 8-pin Serial EEPROM devices including 24xx I2C, 25xx SPI & 93xx Microwire parts. However, because of resources available on the programmer, the devices have to be positioned differently according to the programming requirements of each family
Exceptions:
Certain 93C46 Microwire EEPROM devices from various manufacturers have their connections rotated 2 pins anti-clockwise from the standard pinouts. This rotated pinout is currently not supported.
Notes
- The adapter uses a 28-contact black universal ZIF DIP Test Socket from Aries, with tin-plated beryllium copper contacts (Socket code: 28-6554-10)
- It has a life cycle of 25,000 insertion cycles (minimum) under normal use.
- Operating temperature range: -50°C ~ +105°C
- Printed circuit board material: RF4 with 1 Once copper with a Nickel/Gold RoHS compliant finish
- Adapter is Lead-free and RoHS compliant
